Nerd BSA/io winning battle piece vs. Few Grandview, Ohio

Nerd Versus Few Grandview, Ohio
By Wes Flexner aka ANON

Nerd and Few’s battle was a culmination of a war between Columbus locals, and out of town CCAD students who didn’t respect Columbus.
It was easy to dismiss those dorks.

Few was Coup’s prodigy.
Few didn’t attend CCAD
Few was from Columbus.
Coup didn’t attend CCAD.
Coup loved vandalism.
There were several groups of CCAD writers who didn’t respect Columbus, and Columbus didn’t respect them..
Few bombed….

Coupe wasn’t from Columbus so respecting Columbus culture wasn’t Coupe’s priority.
Few knew vandalism is an equalizer in graffiti arguments

Few, and Coup resented the history of Columbus.
Few and Coup were bombers.

Nerd BSA/io is aligned with New York/ Columbus tradition.
Nerd lineage,,, Keo FC/XMEN…
Ironic,,, Nerd isn’t Nerd XMEN from Chicago.
Nerd didn’t know Nerd XMEN existed while picking a name..
BSA is a Chicago crew but..BSA’s Chicago conversation….Jek aka Zook and ANON via Mane…
I will save that explanation for a book..
Mane and Maine….

We are discussing Nerd BSA/io.
Nerd BSA/io painted with Wands, and Jek 182 aka Zook..
Nerd, and Hot were our next piecing generation after Wands, and Zook
Nerd, and Hot added Keo into our FC/tm7 organic osmosis.
I’m the Def Jux/Rhymesayer from the Wands/Zook pot…

Columbus placed emphasis on organic piecing traditions.

Few was a bomber from the Southside who aligned himself with everyone who’d violated any Columbus rules of writing..
Coupe was from Louisville..
Few was Coupe’s son..

Few had battled Sifer previously after starting a beef with Hery.
Sifer was Dell’s straight letter prodigy.
Hery was facing jail for so Sifer took up his beef.
Someone snitched on Hery…
Hery jumped onto 1-71 and chilled in Cincinnati with io crew…
Police were looking for Hery after the snitching.

People approached me about police looking for Hery.
Hery visited Cincinnati.
If Columbus police were looking for a writer because of a snitching….a bombing battle seemed like a trap…

During Sifer Vs. Few….
There was an escalation at the wall where Sifer showed Few he could kick his ass.
Sifer didn’t beat up Few..
Sifer implied physically…Few instigating war after someone snitched on a writer wasn’t appreciated..
A confrontation emerged..
Sifer won that battle and Few realized Sifer would beat him up…

Few kept spouting revisionist graffiti history online.
Few still hated the history of Columbus…
Few would vandalize something..
Few then would spout hatred on my website,  omnimix.

Nerd and Few had a discussion from Omnimix.
Few insulted Nerd.
Nerd arranged a battle in a polite manner.
Nerd had bombed so Nerd understood Few’s vandalism is sometimes motivated by anger.
Nerd is a chef in lifestyle, and philosophy.

Nerd lived in Grandview.
Nerd invited Few into where Nerd lived.

Few didn’t know anything about local history
Few didn’t know Nerd, and Mass Appeal’s Angela Boatwright are friends because of DIY Metal Columbus..
Nas runs Mass Appeal now..
Angela Boatwright attended Nerd’s Christmas party at Nerd’s Grandview residence..
I wore an Aesop Rock shirt at Nerd’s Holiday Party which started a conversation between Angela and me,..I’ve known Angela for years….
She found the Aesop Rock shirt amusing.
I think Angela found amusement Nerd and I were friends.
Point….People liked Nerd..

Few found out why people liked Nerd.

Nerd cooked Few brunch.
Nerd chatted with Few.
I think Nerd explained context while eating pancakes without anger or threats.
I don’t know if Nerd and Few ate pancakes..
Nerd might’ve dazzled Few with a special cuisine choice..

We saw a change in Few after the Nerd battle.

Nerd and Few walked from Nerd’s house…
Nerd, and Few piece battled with a respect for the idea of painting in their chosen activity.

I showed up while they were battling.
I’m once again officiating.

I had pieces in that yard which almost functioned like BSA/io’s Grandview museum
Hery, Cern and others were up.

I’m in io, BSA and KNK with Nerd….
I don’t remember where Coup was living…
Coupe wasn’t living in Columbus..
I’ve painted with Coupe.
Coupe was a prolific bomber.
We knew each other.
Coup felt like I was the only person who would negotiate a battle …
I figured a piecing battle were an easier result than continuing a bombing battle while police were looking for a writer after a snitching…

I communicated with Few, and writers about the battles…
I negotiated location, date, and judges.

Few and Nerd agreed upon judges, location and date.
Few was cool with Sucko.
The judges were Sucko’s friends..

Nerd, and Few pieced next to each other..
In the middle you see a Nerd Character…

Nerd is known for cartoons, food, and utensils in his pieces.

Nerd improvised a knife cutting a rope from a Nerd’s neck.
Nerd painted a little bubble that said, NERD LIVES.
In the face of adversiity… Columbus culture prevailed.

Few had already painted the Slayer song, Mandatory Suicide.
Nerd likes Slayer.
Nerd jiu jitsu’d Few’s Mandatory Suicide mention into where Few declared himself a suicide bomber who wouldn’t survive attacking Nerd.

Nerd lived.
Few committed suicide.

Nerd BSA/io is from the leftist, anarchist Columbus tradition of Columbus punk.
Nerd was frends with Teeth of the Hydra, and repped the Black Sabbath Army.
Nerd BSA/io attended shows at revered punk houses…the Neil House, and Legion of the Doom.
I doubt Few knew the Neil House or LOD existed.
Few didn’t know the history Columbus of counterculture.
Few vandalized.
Nerd vandalized.
Nerd designed a logo for Anti-Racist Action in the late 90’s.
Few didn’t know the history of DIY music.
Few liked ARA.

Nerd is from the Def Jux, and Rhymesayers scene leftist Hardcore punk’s continuum.
Few looked Nu Metal in comparison by starting beef with someone who was part of organic leftist doom metal Columbus in our current rap community with ARA friends.

People knew Nerd liked Slayer.
Nerd is in the Black Sabbath Army.

Nerd’s piece sprawled out with a MF Doom flavor during Rhymesayers/Jux epoch which made Few’s presence itself like a bad mall metal band who didn’t quite understand…
Nerd’s piece stabbed Few’s piece while a Nerd sat in the center of the connector after escaping an attempted killing from a white terrorist…
The wall respected Columbus.
Few had opposed our cities’ essence out of ignorance even though Few’s politics liked ARA.

Once Nerd added the knife, and NERD LIVES

Nerd’s finished product proclaimed … Few knew his efforts were futile.
People took the Mandatory Suicide as Few admitting that Few killed himself after realizing he battled everything everyone respected…
Few was attacking something that Fews’ essence respected after comphrension..
Few quit writing after that battle.

Nerd’s presences overshadowed Few’s name.
Nerd looked iconic.
Nerd’s presentation seemed like it was a celebration of Columbus aura in the face of a culture which spited everything organic Columbus.

Nerds a chef with the wisdom of ancient culture with a current local culture, iconic pizzazz.
Nerd knew the context… that Few started a beef with Hery who police were looking for because of a snitching …

Nerd added his punchline, “I’d Eat You But I Can’t Stand Burnt Food.”
Nerd’s a chef who worked at some of Columbus best restaurants.
Nerd used his chef skills as an aura of unique presentation.
Nerd was the respected writer.
People knew Few was a new writer who vandalized but was wrong.
Fews piece couldn’t compete with texture, and flavor of Nerd’s recipe.

Nerd understood the context.
Nerd’s presence was the most amiable entity.

The judges showed up.
Nerd outclassed Few…

The judges looked at the entire wall.
The judges unanimously agreed Few killed himself by instigating that battle.

Nerd was declared the winner by all the judges..

Few accepted his defeat.
Few agreed he killed himself.
Few quit writing.
Mandatory Suicide was like a Shogun falling on his sword.
Few knew he would lose but still painted in the battle.
I’m assuming Few knew his approach toward graffiti wasn’t sustainable.
He beefed with an entire city while using bad taste..
Vandalism is an equalizer but…is this really your life’s calling.

Battling Nerd was probably the easiest out for someone who was wrong in essence and context..
Hery reps BSA, and io.
Nerds BSA and io…
Nerd, and Hery were bombing partners.

At the time, Nerd had defeated Few.
Few resembled a new internet rapper who had hated on the history of our culture…
Even if it placed Few on the side of snitching…

We knew Few vandalized…
Few wasn’t a snitch.
He just picked the history’s wrong side..

Sifer and Few already had a bombing battle.
Sifer did well in that battle but everyone knew that was a lot of effort.
I don’t think Few or Sifer wanted to spend their next year painting things that only ran for a day…..

I was in a really weird position because Few was beefing with my friends and crewmates.
I assumed someone should steer this into something which didn’t ruin everyone’s lives.

Writers would show up at the Burberry Shire Armes….
They would say….Few is emailing you…..

I wouldn’t divulge our conversations.
I knew Few would’ve been beaten up in an abandon building if I repeated Few’s animosity..

Coupe’s Minnesota accent was palatable every time Few typed ANON..

ANON, Coupe said I should contact you…..”

I told my friends..

Who else would you want communicating in this situation?

Few was doing mullicolor pieces in high profile spots.
Few bombed a military armory…

Hery, and our friends were up…
Police were looking for Hery because someone snitched….

Few was one of those things..
This kids wrong in history..
We were aware…
Few did vandalize the National Guard’s fortress…

Police were looking for Hery which wasn’t involved with vandalizing the National Guard’s Rooftop..
We didn’t snitch on Few while looking at Few’s bombing.
We were amused with Fews’ insanity…

We all knew Few wasn’t timid.
I explained…
Few is wrong for opposing organic culture….but someone should show him that his anger towards our us is misguided…
Nerd didn’t comment but understood.

Everything culminated with Nerd and Few’s battle…

Nerd burned Few while treating Few with respect and explaining context…
Few’s war with Columbus, Ohio concluded.

After the battle, Few liked BSA.
Few didn’t hate BSA’s history of Columbus graffiti because Few respected BSA’s class.
We didn’t threaten Few.
Few understood our essence.
BSA exuded Slayer because we were the Black Sabbath Army.

Few and I were friends now..
Few liked Nerd.
This angry rambunctious, prolific bomber liked BSA because Few liked our culture.
BSA were rebels in the leftist, anarchist understanding of counterculture.
Few respected rebellion.
Few was down with Coupe whose crew was called Writers For Revolution.
Coupe liked the ARA.
I’m assuming Few respected the ARA..
Black Sabbath Army chilled with Lady and other members of ARA.

I felt relief Nerd resolved a conflict.
While everyone knew I was the moderator…
I’m down with Nerd, Hery who are in BSA/io.
I’m friends with Sifer.
This beef started with Few’s hatred of Hery.
I still knew I was watching a bunch of angry people vandalizing after someone who wasn’t in this bombing conflict snitched…

Everything was finished with the Nerd/Few battle.
Few quit writing…
Nerd said kind things about their interaction

The next class of CCAD artists, THREE BOOTEE SHOPPE didn’t repeat other generation’s mistakes.
3CB were skaters involved with DIY Columbus.
3CB were down with BSA, PBJ. and io…
I’m in Three Cee Booty Shoppe, BSA, PBJ, and io…

I didn’t know Detox yet.
Detox doesn’t write graffiti but Detox joined BSA because of our cultural community.
Few, and Detox were roommates.
Years later, we would sit around like friends..
I don’t think we ever discussed Few’s hatred of Columbus.
I think Few became obsessed with DVD’s instead of vandalism..
I feel like all of our conversations were about DVD’s Few stole from stores.
Detox would play rap music, and Few understood rap music’s relationship with things Few respected..

DJ Detox is Blueprint’s deejay and lives with his woman….

Rumeysa Ozturk’s Tufts Daily Editorial

Do you think Rumeysa Ozturk should’ve been sent into prison indefinitely for writing the following:

https://www.tuftsdaily.com/article/2024/03/4ftk27sm6jkj

“On March 4, the Tufts Community Union Senate passed 3 out of 4 resolutions demanding that the University acknowledge the Palestinian genocide, apologize for University President Sunil Kumar’s statements, disclose its investments and divest from companies with direct or indirect ties to Israel. These resolutions were the product of meaningful debate by the Senate and represent a sincere effort to hold Israel accountable for clear violations of international law. Credible accusations against Israel include accounts of deliberate starvation and indiscriminate slaughter of Palestinian civilians and plausible genocide.

Unfortunately, the University’s response to the Senate resolutions has been wholly inadequate and dismissive of the Senate, the collective voice of the student body. Graduate Students for Palestine joins Tufts Students for Justice in Palestine, the Tufts Faculty and Staff Coalition for Ceasefire and Fletcher Students for Palestine to reject the University’s response. Although graduate students were not allowed by the University into the Senate meeting, which lasted for almost eight hours, our presence on campus and financial entanglement with the University via tuition payments and the graduate work that we do on grants and research makes us direct stakeholders in the University’s stance.

While an argument may be made that the University should not take political stances and should focus on research and intellectual exchange, the automatic rejection, dismissive nature and condescending tone in the University’s statement have caused us to question whether the University is indeed taking a stand against its own declared commitments to free speech, assembly and democratic expression. According to the Student Code of Conduct, “active citizenship, including exercising free speech and engaging in protests, gatherings, and demonstrations, is a vital part of the Tufts community.” In addition, the Dean of Students Office has written, “while at times the exchange of controversial ideas and opinions may cause discomfort or even distress, our mission as a university is to promote critical thinking, the rigorous examination and discussion of facts and theories, and diverse and sometimes contradictory ideas and opinions.” Why then is the University discrediting and disregarding its students who practice the very ideals of critical thinking, intellectual exchange and civic engagement that Tufts claims to represent?

The role of the TCU Senate resolutions is abundantly clear. The Senate’s resolutions serve as a “strong lobbying tool that expresses to the Tufts administration the wants and needs of the student body. They speak as a collective voice and are instrumental in enacting systemic changes.” In this case, the “systemic changes” that the collective voice of the student body is calling for are for the University to end its complicity with Israel insofar as it is oppressing the Palestinian people and denying their right to self-determination — a right that is guaranteed by international law. These strong lobbying tools are all the more urgent now given the order by the International Court of Justice confirming that the Palestinian people of Gaza’s rights under the Genocide Convention are under a “plausible” risk of being breached.

This collective student voice is not without precedent. Today, the University may remember with pride its decision in February 1989 to divest from South Africa under apartheid and end its complicity with the then-racist regime. However, we must remember that the University divested up to 11 years after some of its peers. For instance, the Michigan State University Board of Regents passed resolutions to end its complicity with Apartheid South Africa as early as 1978. Had Tufts heeded the call of the student movement in the late 1970s, the University could have been on the right side of history sooner….”
