“We’re deeply grateful to our attendees and panelists for showing up with openness and intention, to Morehouse and Dr. David Wall Rice for hosting us at the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center and King Chapel, and to Mayor Andre Dickens for welcoming us to Atlanta..” – De La Soul
Ackman purchased a 9.9 percent stake in Chipotle back in September 2016 at a cost of around $1 billion. This made his hedge fund, Pershing Square Capital Management, one of Chipotle’s largest shareholders at the time.
However, Ackman has gradually reduced his stake in the company over the years since. In November, a third-quarter earnings call to investors confirmed Pershing Square had sold its remaining shares in Chipotle.
Despite this, Chipotle felt it was necessary to reaffirm Ackman is no longer associated with the chain. This suggests the company took threats of a boycott seriously. A Chipotle spokesperson told Newsweek: “Bill Ackman is not affiliated with Chipotle and is no longer a shareholder of the Company.”

I don’t know if Lee Renaldo is recording a song called Kool Moe Dee for his solo musics.
“We wanted the songs to be short,” Kim says of her continued collaboration with LA producer J Raisen. “We wanted to do it really fast. It’s more focused, and maybe more confident. I always kind of work off of rhythms, and I knew I wanted it to be even more beat-oriented than the last one. Raisen really gets my voice and my lyrics and he understands how I work—that came forth even more on this record.”
….directed by Rodarte founders and filmmakers Kate and Laura Mulleavy with director of photography Christopher Blauvelt. The song brings out a poetic tension in Kim’s voice. “I started singing in a way I hadn’t sung in a long time,” she says. “This other voice came out.”
