Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth is back with her 3rd solo album . PLAY ME will release March 13, 2026 via Matador. PLAY ME claims it melodic, with a krautrock beat except the songs aren’t autobahn …the motoriks are treadmill, coo coo cal.

I don’t know if Lee Renaldo is recording a song called Kool Moe Dee for his solo musics.

 “We wanted the songs to be short,” Kim says of her continued collaboration with LA producer J Raisen. “We wanted to do it really fast. It’s more focused, and maybe more confident. I always kind of work off of rhythms, and I knew I wanted it to be even more beat-oriented than the last one. Raisen really gets my voice and my lyrics and he understands how I work—that came forth even more on this record.”
